Download the installer
ScoutSetup.exe, 38 MB. No admin rights needed.

Run it
The file isn't digitally signed yet, so Windows may hold it back. Press «More info», then «Run anyway».

Scout installs the mod itself
On its first start Scout finds Deadlock through Steam and puts its tab into the game's shop as an ordinary mod. Close the game before that or restart it after.

Sign in with Steam or e-mail
With the same account as on the site. The lobby is free, builds and the match are in the plans.

Scout only reads the game's memory and never writes to it. More in the FAQ.
If something went wrong
Windows says «Windows protected your PC»
The file isn't digitally signed yet, so SmartScreen doesn't know it. Press «More info», then «Run anyway».
The Scout tab didn't show up in the game's shop
Scout puts it in on its first start. If Deadlock was running then, restart the game.
How to update Scout
Download and run the new installer: it closes Scout and replaces the program. Ratings, settings and sign-in stay.
How to uninstall Scout
Windows Settings, «Apps», Deadlock Scout, «Uninstall». Your data stays in %LOCALAPPDATA%\DeadlockScout; delete that folder by hand if you want.
